LOGO TO PREMIERE AFTERELLEN.COM PRESENTS THE L WORD to present first five seasons of hit Showtime series on Logo starting June 26, 2008.

NEW YORK, NY – June 10, 2008 - Logo, a division of Viacom Inc.'s (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B) MTV Networks, today announced, the leading website for lesbian entertainment, will present the network television premiere of the groundbreaking Showtime lesbian-drama as Presents The L Word on June 26, 2008 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Presents The L Word will be sponsored by Olivia and Subaru.

As each episode full of lust, love and laughter premieres on Logo, will offer commentary and show recaps headlined by the famous lesbian video blog We’re Getting Nowhere. Jill Bennett, Karman Kregloe, and Dara Nai will be airing new video blog episodes each week highlighting the best and worst moments of the The L Word that would entertain any true fan of the popular lesbian-drama series. Logo will also air comments from members related to that particular episode and quotes from interviews with the cast of The L Word to only enhance the viewing experience. is part of Logo’s federation of websites that is the number one online source for LGBT entertainment.

The show joins Logo’s commitment to airing the greatest collection of LGBT programming and films including  Queer As Folk, Angels in America, Loving Annabelle, and Philadelphia as well as a bedrock of original scripted series and shows including Noah’s Arc, Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World, The Big Gay Sketch Show, CBS News on Logo, Sordid Lives: The Series, Exes & Ohs, which was recently green lit for a second season, and reality series Gimme Sugar, which recently debuted its series premiere on June 9 at 10:00 PM ET/PT.
Starring Jennifer Beals, Leisha Hailey, Laurel Holloman, Mia Kirshner, Katherine Moennig, Pam Grier, Erin Daniels, Rachel Shelley, Sarah Shahi, Dallas Roberts and Daniela Sea, The L Word is an entertaining exploration of the lesbian experience through the eyes of a small group of friends living in Los Angeles.   The show also addresses a number of serious issues that affect the lesbian community, including breast cancer, adoption issues, domestic violence and challenges for gay families.
