Stephanie Allynne plays Nat Bailey, a sweet therapist who is struggling to co-parent with a hostile ex-wife and her live-in fiancée (Alice).

She was born in Claremont, California and headed to Los Angeles at the age of 18 and joined the Upright Citizens Brigade where she perfected her improv abilities. She performs regularly with ASSSSCAT, Wild Horses, and Last Day of School: The Text Message show. She has made numerous appearances on television including The League, The Mindy Project, Happy Endings, 2 Broke Girls, Kroll Show, and Key & Peele. She wrote and co-starred in One Mississippi with her wife Tig Notaro. The show was a loose autobiography about their lives.

SEPIDEH MOAFI – GIGI GHORBANI

Sepideh Moafi plays Gigi Ghorbani, passionate realtor & Nat Bailey’s ex wife.

She was born on September 18, 1985 in Regensburg, Bavaria, West Germany. She can currently be seen starring in the series The Deuce. Previously, Moafi appeared in the second season of Falling Water, as well as on Notorious. She has also guest starred on Nurse Jackie, The Blacklist and Limitless. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine.

BRIAN MICHAEL SMITH – PIERCE WILLIAMS

Brian Michael Smith plays Pierce Williams, a buttoned-up, fastidious, expert political strategist and a veteran of LA.

He was born January 29, 1983 and is known for his recurring role in Queen Sugar as well as appearances on Chicago P.D., Girls and the Showtime thriller Homeland. Although assigned female at birth, he self-identified as male, and was perceived as male, throughout his childhood. While attending Ann Arbor Pioneer High School he played defensive end and fullback on the boys football team during the fall and set records in shot put and pole vaulting on the girls track & field team in the spring.

Jillian Mercado – Maribel Suarez

Jillian Mercado plays Maribel Suarez, an immigration attorney and Sophie’s little sister. The two are very close and Maribel is always there to give Sophie advice and support.

She was born April 30, 1987 and is best known as a model with muscular dystrophy and has been praised for her representation of the differently-abled in fashion. She has appeared on E! News and has modelled in campaigns for Olay, Bumble 100, Calvin Klein, Nordstrom, Target and Tommy Hilfiger. On the editorial side, she was featured on the cover of Teen Vogue‘s first digital cover and was in September issues of Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Jejune and many others. She is also an active disabilities advocate who has spoken at various summits.

Freddy Miyares plays Jose Garcia, a charming and kind artist who is trying to move on from his complicated past.

He was born October 26, 1994 and is from Miami, Florida. He started his career with a minor role in Elementary, and recently played the role of adult Raymond Santana in Netflix’s When They See Us.

Jamie Clayton plays Tess Van De Berg, a no-nonsense bartender who sees people clearly but has a blind spot when it comes to her own relationships.

She was born January 15, 1978 in San Diego, California and is best known for starring as Nomi Marks in the Netflix series Sense8 and as Sasha Booker in the third season of Designated Survivor. In 2010, she was the makeup artist and co-host on VH1’s first makeover show TRANSform Me.

Fortune Feimster plays Heather, an aspiring comedian who lacks boundaries and works on The Alice Show.

She was born July 1, 1980 and  made her television debut on Last Comic Standing in 2010. Between 2015 and 2017 she starred on The Mindy Project. In 2019, she and Tom Papa started hosting What A Joke with Papa and Fortune, interviewing comedians and other celebrities, on Sirius XM radio.
