 With
every new season of The L Word comes a subsequent six to eight month lull
between new episodes in which lesbians nationwide chomp, chew and scratch at
the bit to find out what Ilene Chaiken has in store for their favorite bed
hopping, cocktail guzzling ladies of the L.A. lesbian scene.
And with every new season premiere, there's the inevitable watercooler
chatter.
With that in mind, Showtime paired with the HRC for a season five premiere
of their smash hit series, and trotted out the cast to West Hollywood's
Factory nightclub for a star-studded event (where else on the eve of the New
Hampshire primaries would you see HRC president Joe Solmonese rubbing elbows
with a sapppicly attired Paris Hilton?).
Name dropping aside, the lovely ladies of The L Word turned out to party the
night away... from Jennifer Beals, Pam Grier, Rachel Shelley and Marlee
Matlin striking a pose to Daniela Sea and Leisha Hailey getting down at the
inside bar, it was a night to remember.
Complete with, as previously mentioned, a brown bobbed Paris looking like
she's bucking for a cameo appearance.
Wonder what sort of trouble Chaiken could create for her?
