There is much more to the music you hear in a series or in a movie than the songs you can find when you turn on the radio or drive to the nearest CD store.

Many of the dramatic scenes in a show are fuelled by music that adeptly conveys emotions, lends depth to the characters and propels a scene. This music is the score.

The L Word Season 1 score was by Andy Paley with additional music and the opening theme song by Dan Gagnon.

The Second Season score was composed by Elizabeth Ziff (ezgirl)

We have word from the record label that an additional CD featuring the score music and more will be released to coincide with the season finale (May 10).

Original compositions from The L Word Season 2, written, produced and arranged by ezgirl. Jane Siberry and Kate Pierson have also contributed to the recording. Gloria Steinem makes an appearance in the last episode of Season 2, and her passionate speech is included on this very special CD.
